The Band
StarWound is a sophisti-pop trio based in Athens, Greece. Their music fuses a cabaret ambience with elements of EDM and synth rock genres. They have released three albums: Miles to Walk (2015), So Wrong (2018) and What Do you See? (2024). Their lyrics, which arise from the philosophical and social concerns of modern man, are characterized both by realism and poetry.
They have participated in many famous Festivals such as Eurosonic (Netherlands), CLAE Festival (Luxembourg), Colora (Belgium), Culturescapes (Switzerland), "River Party” and Nisville (Serbia). They have given concerts in Switzerland, UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, North Macedonia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Luxembourg.
Their last project under the title "Interiors" brought them three times already to the USA, where they have collaborated with contemporary poets and performed in distinguished US universities in 17 different States. For fall 2026, they have already scheduled a new ‘Interiors – tour” around Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland. In August 2025, StarWound and Contra Dance – dancing group of Serbia – united their projects and created the new project: ‘Interiors – A post-pandemic Dance’, where the songs of ‘Interiors’ met the choreodrama of Contra for the battles of mental health. Songs of the first three tours will be recorded and released at the beginning of 2026. Lastly, for Spring 2026, StarWound have already scheduled a big event in central Greece in collaboration with Mural Artists based on ‘Interiors’.
StarWound have collaborated with the Greek National Opera composing "Dancing Cloud', a work dedicated to the memory of the principal dancer Sasha Neskov. Many songs of their albums have been featured on many major FM radio stations in Greece, Europe and the USA. Several important newspapers and magazines, like “Jazztime” (CH), “De havenloods” (NL), “Ta Nea”, “Athens Voice”, “Avopolis”, “Efsyn” (GR) have published articles and interviews with StarWound. In November 2018, they put “EVE” on stage, an alternative persona of their singer and they gave a series of shows under the title “Eternally”.
